The doctors and staff at Barber Creek Veterinary Hospital wanted to remind you that due to the crucial role we play in the health and wellness of caring for your pets, veterinary medicine has been deemed an essential business by authorities, and we will continue operate during the duration of the “stay-at-home” order issued in Georgia.
During this time, we want to note that while our service and care is the same level you have come to know and expect from us, the appointment may look a little different. We have enacted some new protocols to help keep you, your pet, and our team safe. These protocols include the following:
- Curbside and drop-off appointments are now being offered. Please call 706-549-7387 to schedule your appointment today.
- If you need to pick up any medications or food, please call and pay from your car. We will have a team member bring it to you. We respectfully ask that you not enter the hospital at this time for any reason. This is to keep you and our team safe and healthy.
- Prescription medications and food can be ordered through our online pharmacy and then be mailed out for your convenience and safety.
- We are consistently cleaning and disinfecting of all frequently touched surfaces with medical-grade viricides.
Please note: if you are feeling ill or may be at risk of exposure to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and your pet is in need of immediate care, please have a friend or family member transport your pet to the clinic and call beforehand so we are prepared to take all necessary precautions while receiving your pet.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call us. Thank you for your understanding and stay well.
